let's talk.

We Won a Cascadia Creative Award — and the Company Was Exceptional

On June 4th, Beth and Parker headed to Castaway in Portland for the third annual Cascadia Creative Awards, put on by NextNW — and came home with some hardware.

Fab Brands took Gold in the Magazine/Print category for the George Packing Company Grower Guide 2026. It's the kind of project we love: purposeful, beautifully crafted, and built to actually work for the client — not just look good in a portfolio. Seeing it recognized alongside some of the most talented creative shops in the Pacific Northwest means a lot.

The Cascadia Creative Awards celebrate marketing and creative work from across the NextNW region — with entrants from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Alaska, Alberta and British Columbia. The submissions were judged by a global jury of creative leaders from Visa, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, and beyond. The bar is high. The winning work this year reflected that. Best in Show went to Portland-based Öpinionated (a Tombras Company) for their "Have You Eaten Yet?" campaign for Panda Express — a genuinely stunning piece of work.

Events like this are a good reminder of why we love this industry and this city. Portland's creative community consistently punches above its weight, and getting to spend an evening with the people making that happen — across agencies big and small — never gets old.

We're proud of the work we did for George Packing Company, and proud to be part of a creative community that sets the bar this high.

Here's to the whole team — and to the clients who trust us to do work worth celebrating.
