Beth Erlendson, Founder & Managing Director

Beth Erlendson brings more than 20 years of marketing experience to her role as Managing Director and CEO of Fab Brands. Creative Director & Principal
Jim takes your vision for how you see your brand and transforms it into dazzling website designs, branding, marketing materials and brochures. Jim has lent his expert brand identity design skills to some of the Northwest’s most iconic brands, including the City of Lake Oswego, Zupan’s, Gersing Cellars, Fournier Group, Illume Property Management, My Financial Girlfriend, Natureworx Packaging, The Seattle Gym, Elephant’s Delicatessen and numerous others. Jim is a member of the prestigious Color Marketing Group (CMG), an international association for color design professionals that identifies the direction of color and design trends and translates them into salable colors for manufactured products.

Damon Hart

Web Developer & Programmer
Damon specializes in responsive web design, illustration, product photography, marketing, and more. He’s been designing websites for over a decade. Before he was a Web Designer Damon worked for over a decade in social services. A passion for social justice is a fundamental part of who he is. He specializes in Drupal, WordPress, Shopify, and he’s a BigCommerce design partner. When not working you can find Damon exploring his love for animation, good food and drink, volunteering in the community, reading good science fiction, fly-fishing, or loving on his cat.

Mason Pashia

Digital Marketing Specialist and Brand Strategist
Mason is a digital marketing specialist, copywriter and brand strategist. Through client-facing copy, ads and internal messaging, he believes that coherency and consistency are the keys to marketing success. Mason leads branding workshops, runs digital marketing campaigns and makes strategic decisions to help companies differentiate from the competition and passionately tell their own unique stories. He’s worked with companies including MARS, VACO and HotLogic. He’s passionate about film, records, literature and food — you’ll likely find him with his headphones in, but he’s happy to hit pause and chat.

Rene Ferran, Jr.

Project Manager & Writer
Rene Ferran has more than 25 years providing quality content to a variety of online and print publications. He spent 15 years as the lead high school sportswriter for the Tri-City Herald, where he honed his deadline writing skills and ability to quickly assess situations to produce clear, concise and compelling copy. When he's not slumped over a keyboard, you can probably find him officiating a youth sports event or spending time with his wife and two teenaged children.

Wine and Food Writer, Educator and Sommelier
Our resident wine writer is Maxine Borcherding, Sommelier and former Lead Chef Instructor at Oregon Culinary School and owner of the Taste and Compare Academy of Wine, Spirits and Food. Her expertly written articles are engaging and run the gamut from wine tasting notes, growing practices, to the terrior, special wine maker features, to her highly regarded food and wine pairing recommendations. Chef Borcherding is a graduate of the International Sommelier Guild, Sommelier Diploma Program. She also is a French Wine Scholar Instructor, a Spanish Wine Educator, and a Wine Location Specialist with distinction from the Center for Wine Origins.

Tom Boehme

Tom won the 2017 Best Fashion Photographer award at the Portland Fashion & Style Awards.
